"Imperial Club" — Life on the Great Neva River
One of my goals is to shoot all the iconic projects and locations in the cities where Whitewill sells real estate. Through photo stories, I try to capture the atmosphere and architectural details of these locations to help our clients find the right place to live or invest.
From my trip to St. Petersburg, I have a few unpublished photos of residential complexes. One of them is the “Imperial Club” on Vasilyevsky Island.
The complex is being built on the waterfront of the Bolshaya Neva River, next to Lieutenant Schmidt Embankment.
The buildings occupy a location that is rare for St. Petersburg, with unobstructed views of the historic center and the English Embankment.
The legendary icebreaker “Krasin” is moored near the building.
Brokers from our St. Petersburg office had placed a paid reservation here with a client for ₽190 million, but in the end, we’re closing the deal on a different project.
The “Imperial Club” is still under construction, so I had to work hard to find the right angles. But I think it turned out well.
