The “Severnaya Korona” Residential Complex is a premium development in the prime area of the Petrograd Side, at the intersection of Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt and the Karpovka River embankment, near Professor Popov Street. The complex comprises nine residential buildings ranging from 3 to 9 stories in height, as well as a restored apartment building on Pokotilova Street, built in 1912.
The architectural ensemble, stretching 250 meters along the waterfront, includes 361 residential units in the new building and 36 apartments in the historic section. The complex has a total area of 62,800 square meters, with 2,300 square meters allocated for landscaping. The building’s facades, inspired by the aesthetics of Northern Art Nouveau, are clad in chiseled granite and adorned with dormer windows and French balconies. The historic building underwent a painstaking restoration: the bas-reliefs and lion mascarons were restored to the facades, and the decorative balustrade was recreated in its original form.
