The “Malookhtinsky, 68” residential complex is located on the right bank of the Neva River, just a five-minute walk from the embankment and not far from Alexander Nevsky Square. The project comprises nine buildings of varying heights, divided into 16 asymmetrical sections that form a striking architectural ensemble. The concept for the complex was developed by the architectural firm “Zemtsov, Kondine & Partners,” inspired by the aesthetics of Hamburg’s HafenCity district—one of the most famous examples of modern European urban planning.
The interior space plays a special role in the project. An area comparable in size to four soccer fields has been transformed into a landscaped park, where walking paths follow the contours of the Neva, the Okhta, and the Okkervil, connecting themed areas for recreation, sports, and walking.
The neighborhood will feature 918 apartments, and all necessary infrastructure—from a kindergarten to underground parking—has already been built. Today, the “Malookhtinsky, 68” Residential Complex is fully completed and ready for residents, having become one of the architectural landmarks of Malaya Okhta.
