"Genius" is a residential complex in Nevsky district of St. Petersburg, near the metro station "Ulitsa Dybenko". Each building is dedicated to the great discoveries of Russian scientists and works of art. Sculptures by Vladislav Bek-Bulatov, a student of Zaha Hadid's bureau, are installed in the front rooms.
The key art object of the project is a mirrored termenvox, a musical instrument by Soviet physicist Lev Termen. It is played without touching: the pitch and volume of the melody are controlled by hand movements in the air. Special sensors of the termenvox in the Residential Complex "Genius" analyze the changes around and transform them into sounds.
There are a total of 2 phases in the project, each with its own courtyard. Walk along the winding paths, relax in hammocks and sunbathe on loungers in the spa area. Children's playgrounds are created for the all-round development of kids and teenagers, and vorkout-zones with fitness equipment will appeal to fans of an active lifestyle. Nearby will open a kindergarten for 120 places, the first floors will be occupied by stores, cafes and beauty salons.
The territory of the complex is fully fenced and guarded. To get into the courtyard and the front door can only with an electronic key.
